The RNLI were on hand to rescue a cabin cruiser that was once used in 1963’s From Russia With Love, featuring Sean Connery as the secret agent.

But unlike its high-speed role in the blockbuster, the 28ft Fairey Nuff had engine trouble and was stranded in Osborne Bay.
Lifeboat crews from Cowes RNLI towed the boat, normally based at Shamrock Quay, Southampton, to Trinity Landing where a marine engineer was on hand to fix the trouble.
