COUNCILLORS will decide whether to back the conversion of a family home in Southampton into a shared house.

The house in Omdurman Road has already been converted into a seven-bed shared house without planning permission.

City council officers have recommended that councillors refuse the application, as there are already enough shared houses in the vicinity of the property.

Can never be enough places to live! and to live together,..... to share has to be the best thing for any community..how many people on all the thousands of new builds know who lives next door? when they have to travel to work and leisure? a bit of thought for the young homeless or kids coming out of care able to live together, get into college building a future in your city, its has to be the way forward. Its ready and waiting to be used for the right purpose.
