HUNDREDS of youngsters found out about aviation and aerospace at the renowned Farnborough International Airshow.
Two hundred youngsters visited the event and were wowed by a series of dazzling flying displays.
The trip was organised by the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). Pupils aged between 11 and 18 got the chance to talk to experts from aerospace, technology and engineering firms. They also got a glimpse of the future of aviation, seeing some of the new technology on display.
Fareham College and the Centre of Excellence in Engineering and Manufacturing Advanced Skills Training organised the visit for students from Fare-ham, Hamble, Southampton and the New Forest.
Fareham College principal Nigel Duncan said: “Everyone left the show feeling inspired and many young people are showing an interest in embarking on one of hundreds of the exciting careers in aviation.”
