PLANS to bulldoze a house in the New Forest have been thrown out.

James Bradley lodged an appeal after the National Park Authority rejected his application to demolish White Lodge in Southampton Road, Boldre, and build a new house on the site.

But Government-appointed planning inspector Michael Evans has dismissed the appeal, saying the proposed development would harm the character and appearance of the area.
