A WINCHESTER music class aimed at older people has proved so popular another session will be introduced.

The Singing for Wellbeing project, run by the Winchester Live At Home Scheme (WLAHS), was first launched with the help of the Centre of Arts at Winchester University a year ago.

As of September 22 classes will be held at the United Church on Jewry Street from 11am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-3pm.

Claire Morgan, manager of the WLAHS, said: “The session’s aim is to enhance health and sense of wellbeing through music and song, making the group particularly important for those with memory loss or other long-term health issues.”
