AFTER four spectacular days, one of the south's biggest music festivals will climax tonight with a world record attempt.
Bestival organisers are aiming to suspend the world's largest mirror ball before the closing night's set by disco kings Chic featuring Nile Rodgers.
The 10 metre diameter sparkling colossus has been ever present throughout the festival at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight to the delight of musicians and the 55,000 revellers alike.
Tonight it will be suspended from a huge crane for the Guinness World Record attempt before the group round off the celebrations.

Other acts gracing the main stage are American electronic music master Major Lazer, rapper Busta Rhymes and dance-pop act Clean Bandit.
Last night indie rockers Foals headlined the main stage following the festival's flagship fancy dress parade on a Desert Island Disco theme with thousands dressed in their funkiest attire.
Front man Yannis Phillippakis and his band drew a smaller crowd than Outkast the previous day in what was a mostly down tempo set interspersed with heavier rockier outbreaks.
There was a mesmerising performance of Spanish Sahara before climaxing with the crowd being showered with blue glitter.
It followed a beautiful but far too reflective and relaxing set by London Grammar on what was a day of outlandish fancy dress for revellers.
Dance group Basement Jaxx impressed in the Big Top with their set including a huge mechanical robot clanking on stage.
The machine, with eyes burning blue, then red, bodypopped and raised its hands in the air.
The dance group, who sported different fancy dress throughout, drew a massive crowd and had earlier featured a ballerina on stage.
Festival head honcho Rob Da Bank made a personal tribute to Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip before watching from the crowd seeing their last ever gig before the duo go their own ways.
Pop and disco singer Sophie Ellis Bextor and the Cuban Brothers got the party started earlier in the day.
Meanwhile Totton couple Donna Clark and Darren Smith tied the knot in the festival's big inflatable church.
