New product protects fences from extreme weather
A HAMPSHIRE engineering firm is set to launch a metal bolster which can protect wooden fences from extreme weather.
FenceFins, invented by Southampton engineer John Gibbs, are small metal attachments for fence posts, designed to protect them from windy weather and climbing children.
SteadyPost, based in Winchester city centre, will launch the product at the UK’s main gardening trade fair, Glee, on Sunday.
