Former landlady of Flower Pots pub in Cheriton dies aged 95
A FORMER Hampshire pub landlady has died aged 95.
A service of thanksgiving for the life of Patricia Bartlett, pictured second left with family and staff outside the Flower Pots pub in Cheriton, will be held at St Michael’s and All Angels church in Cheriton on Monday at noon.
With husband John she took over the Flower Pots in 1968, initially on a 12-month tenancy and carried on in 1982 after John’s death. In 1990 her daughter Jo and son-in-law Paul Tickner bought the pub and have developed it into one of the most popular pubs in the county with its own brewhouse.
