A POLICE investigation was under way yesterday after a body was found in Southampton.
The body of the man was discovered shortly after 1am in a flat in Cranbury Avenue in the city centre.
Emergency services were called after reports that the man had died in a flat.
Neighbours told how police officers could be seen taking bags of evidence from the property in the early hours of the morning.
A police spokesman said that the death is now not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
