VOLUNTEERS have brought the service they offer into the 21st century.
Members of Botley NeighbourCare prepared the Botley Minibus for its repaint with new writing, which was designed to make it look more modern.
The service has been running for more than 20 years, serving residents of Botley by offering transport to medical appointments or transport for people who would otherwise struggle to use public transport.
It is used for lunch clubs, social events, the local Scouts and Guides and football teams and last year made 300 hospital trips.
Chairman Lynne Line said that due to recent cuts in hospital transport the group’s workload has increased and they are looking for more volunteers for NeighbourCare and drivers for the minibus.
