10 tonnes of carpet tiles and debris illegally dumped
ALMOST ten tonnes of carpet tiles and debris were dumped illegally in country lanes near Romsey over a 16-day period.
Test Valley Borough Council’s Environmental Services team is seeking information of five fly-tipping incidents which took place at Lee Drove, Spaniards Lane and Hoe Lane.
The first dumping was reported on October 14 and further incidents were reported on October 17, 27, 29 and 30.
The council say that each load included material that had been damaged in a fire.
