MOTORISTS are facing rush hour congestion on Southampton's city centre roads after two collisions.

At about 5.15pm a Yamaha motorbike and Range Rover were involved in a crash on Portland Terrace.

Emergency services were called to the scene but a police spokesman said he did not believe the incident was serious.

And just half an hour later police were called to the Six Dials roundabout, near St Andrew's Road, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.

The road is partially blocked and officers are at the scene of the collision.
