UP TO 1,000 students donned their wackiest costumes to raise money for Children in Need today.
The pennies are being counted this afternoon after the whole of Itchen College took part in a one mile run around their campus in Sholing.
The line-up for best fancy dress included Superman, Bob the Builder and plenty of students wearing onesies to complete the run.
Mr Incredible Mark Wheeler, who helped organise the event said: “This is just amazing, I am so passionate about fundraising and really wanted to get all the students and staff involved, we've had all 1,200 students out here supporting the cause in some way and more than 100 members of staff helping.
He added: “We've even had the children in the nursery next door come in their tutus and Spiderman costumes to help get some donations with the cute factor, it's been a superb day.”
