Olympic sailor named ambassador to Laureus foundation
Southampton Olympic sailor Ian Walker, skipper of Volvo Ocean Race contender Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing, has been appointed as an ambassador to Laureus, one of the world’s leading foundations working to support young people.
He welcomed a group of young people from Laureus-supported community projects in Cape Town on board Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing’s yacht Azzam in South Africa.
