SOUTHAMPTON Airport passengers will have access to even more global connections as a flight operator expands.

Regional airline Flybe has secured a new codeshare agreement with Dublin-based Aer Lingus, which means customers will be able to easily fly from Southampton to destinations across North America and Canada after a stop in Dublin.

Aer Lingus’ north Atlantic network includes ten daily flights to Boston, New York, San Francisco, Orlando, Chicago and Toronto.

The partnership will also give further destinations to Flybe customers travelling from Exeter, Inverness and Southend. The agreement also extends to those travelling on Flybe franchise partner flights to the Irish capital – namely those from Donegal with Loganair and Flybe’s joint operation from Southend with Stobart Air.
