Country house could be replaced by homes
A COUNTRY house in Wickham could be replaced by five new homes under plans submitted to civic chiefs.
Knight Homes want to demolish Broadha’penny, in Tanfield Lane, and build two-, three- and four-bedroom houses on its large gardens.
Last month parish councillors said neighbours were broadly supportive of the scheme.
Public consultation closes on December 17.
