HE'S the internet sensation who has won a legion of fans.

Now the Wealdstone Raider, whose real name is Gordon Hill, is heading to Southampton to help raise cash for charity.

He shot to fame in a one-minute video as a Wealdstone football fan watching his team’s clash with Whitehawk in March 2013.

He is captured on a mobile phone, with pint in hand, shouting at the rival supporters about their lack of fans and ground.

It is only when the man filming him attempts to wind Gordon up that he turns around and mutters the infamous words: “You want some? I’ll give it ya.”

The short clip is now Internet folklore and it has become a popular catchphrase among young adults.

It has notched up nearly four million views on YouTube since it was uploaded in March last year.

Gordon will appear at Switch nightclub on Friday to raise money for the Southampton charity Wash Up Warm Up (WuWu) to host a Christmas event at The Saints pub in Millbrook.

The charity, which is run by Daily Echo Hampshire Hero James Hilling, will be giving a makeover to vulnerable people and give them an opportunity to meet employers and landlords.

Ryan Keary, owner of Switch nightclub in Above Bar Street, managed to secure “the Raider’s” services after explaining how important the charity was.

He said: “We work closely with James (Hilling) and got behind him when he was raising money during the recent Big Sleep Out.

“That was good fun and for a good cause, so we wanted to give him as much support as we could.

“He wanted to host a night close to Christmas so everyone is in the festive spirit, so we went to get the Wealdstone Raider.

“We expect it to be really busy now we know that this guy is booked.

“Social media is crazy and his video went viral really quickly. There are not many catchphrases on TV anymore, and this is one of those crazy things.”

Entry to the event is £4 on guestlist and £6 for VIP tickets.
