A WOMAN who started a nighttime blaze in a Southampton block of flats has had sentencing adjourned until the new year.
Charlene McCluskey, 29, had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to arson at the block of flats in Keynsham Road where she lived, and was further bailed for a presentence report.
But yesterday prosecutor Carolyn Branford-Wood told the city crown court that the probation service wanted to look at a psychiatric report before compiling an addendum to its own report.
Claire Wiggett, defending, agreed and the judge, Recorder Nicholas Gerasimidis, adjourned proceedings until February 12, renewing McCluskey’s bail.
The fourth-floor incident resulted in one woman and two children being taken to hospital.
