Bridge closed amid concern for man's safety
POLICE were forced to close a Southampton bridge after fears that a man was “unsafe”.
Itchen Bridge was closed off to motorists and pedestrians for half an hour this afternoon after concerns were raised for the welfare of a man.
A spokesperson from Hampshire police confirmed that the situation was resolved by 2.50pm and that the man was safe and well.
