A TOTTON man has appeared in court accused of stealing medical equipment from an ambulance.
Michael Shanley, 26, faced four other medical linked charges.
He is alleged to have entered a room at Southampton General Hospital and stolen a lap top and an indentification badge, and taken drugs as well as the equipment from the vehicle belonging to the Hampshire Ambulance Service.
He is further said to have entered the Testvale Surgery in Totton and stolen a prescription pad and twice used a false prescription to obtain drugs from a pharmacy.
Shanley, of Andrew Close, pleaded not guilty to all five charges when arraigned at Southampton Crown Court.
He was further remanded in custody with a trial set for May.
