STUDENTS in Eastleigh have been making sure poorly children are treated during the festive season.
Barton Peveril student Darcy Allen organised a collection of chocolate treats and gifts for young patients on the Piam Brown Ward in Southampton General Hospital.
The student committee member from Eastleigh rallied with her friends and the college library team to collect more than 100 Christmas goodies from staff and fellow students and delivered them during the last week of term.
She said: “I’m genuinely amazed at the generosity of everyone at Barton Peveril.
“Piam Brown ward is the student committee’s chosen charity for the year and this is a great boost to our ongoing efforts.”
