SHE was tipped as a star of tomorrow and Hampshire actress Rosie Day is certainly living up to that billing.

After securing roles on the big and small screen, Rosie is now sharing the billboard with Hollywood A-lister Sarah Jessica Parker.

Rosie from Winchester, landed the part of playing Sarah's on-screen daughter in the film 'All Roads Lead to Rome' which is due for release later this year.

The pair enjoyed a two month shoot in the Italian city, which is the setting for the romantic comedy and sees Sarah's character Maggie and her former Italian lover played by Raoul Bova, pursue Rosie, as a wayward and rebellious teenager, across Italy.

Along with enjoying the shoot, Rosie, 19, said the pair also hit it off away from the cameras and spent time making the most of the Italian food and culture.

Rosie told the Daily Echo: “It was the most amazing experience, not only getting to film in Rome for two months which is the most beautiful city, but Sarah Jessica is the most wonderful person, so kind to everyone and we had so much fun together.

“We'd hang out after work and at weekends it was a really special time. She's a brilliant actress and I definitely aspire to be like her.”

Sarah Jessica Parker, or SJP, is best known for her portrayal of Carrie Bradshaw in the hit US series Sex and the City, whilst also being regarded as a style icon.

“I have a movie called Howl released in February and then I'm off to LA to see what happens there,” she added.

Rosie won critical acclaim for her part in the Seasoning House which was released in 2012 in which she played a deaf mute in a war-torn Serbian brothel.
