Plans for more than 100 new homes in Swanmore will go on show at an exhibition on Friday.

David Wilson Homes wants to build around 140 houses at Hillpound as part of 250 required new homes in the village.

The new estate, between The Lakes and Droxford Road, would make up more than half of the 250 new homes which need to be built in the village by 2031.

Winchester City Council reports say the land would meet a variety of housing needs and 40 per cent of the homes would be at affordable rates.

Consultants will be on hand to explain the draft proposals on Friday at Swanmore Methodist Church Hall, Chapel Road, from 1.30pm to 7.30pm.
