COMMUTERS were caught in a traffic jam when a stand-off began at a pinch-point on a busy Southampton road.
Motorists and bus passengers were delayed getting to work when the driver of a car and the driver of a bus battled it out for right of way in Freemantle.
Queues of tailbacks were formed along Waterloo road as people waited for the red car to back up and give the Bluestar bus right of way.
The standoff eventually came to an end when police arrived to settle the dispute.
