Warning to pedestrians and cyclists after near misses
RESIDENTS in Otterbourne are being urged to wear reflective or light-coloured clothing after a couple of near-misses in the village.
A resident said due to the lack of visibility and street lighting there had been a close call involving a vehicle and an adult and child dressed in black and grey.
Another incident involved a cyclist riding down Otterbourne Road with no lights, who narrowly avoided a car coming in the other direction.
People have been asked to take care, especially in Hurdle Way.
