A HUNT has been launched to find two men spotted near the body of a man found outside a block of flats.

Police are continuing their investigation today after a 32-year-old man was found dead in Golden Grove, Southampton, yesterday.

Three men, all in their early 40s, have been arrested in connection with the death and are currently in custody.

As reported, officers were alerted at 1.50pm after a man was found lying on a footpath.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say there was no obvious traumatic injury and a post mortem examination is being carried out today by a Home Office pathologist to help determine the cause of death.

It comes just a month after a 34-year-old man suffered multiple stab wounds in an attack in the same estate.

Officers have been conducting house-to-house inquiries in the area and are examining CCTV footage.

Police officers are in the Golden Grove community today to speak to residents and address any concerns they may have.

Det chief inspector Becky Riggs said: "At this stage we are continuing to treat the death as unexplained and the results of the post mortem will be vital in helping us build a clear picture of the circumstances surrounding the death.

"We are speaking to people in the local community but if anyone has any information regarding this incident that can help this investigation, I would urge you to call us as soon as possible.

"In particular, we are very keen to trace two men who were seen near the body outside the flats in Golden Grove shortly before police arrived yesterday afternoon.

"They will know who they are when they hear or read this, and we would urge them to come forward and call us as soon as possible."

Police officers will be out amongst the community in Golden Grove today to speak to residents and address any concerns they may have.
