CHILDREN at a Southampton school clearly "nose" what they are doing after banning themselves from wearing red noses as part of this year's Comic Relief.
Pupils on the school's council at Mason Moor Primary School in Southampton voted for the third year in a row to ban their fellow classmates from sporting the red-coloured conks. It follows problems in the past when noses went missing and the children got upset.
The 260 pupils aged between four and 11 have two council members per year who insisted they "nosed best" by ruling that youngsters can come to school instead dressed in an item of red clothing and make a voluntary donation to the Comic Relief appeal.
