MANY of ewe have been on top form sending in your name suggestions for the four lambs born at Manor Farm Country Park last week.
We have received many different names ranging from the obvious, to the un-ewe-sual, to the down right baaa-d.
But after careful consideration, it was decided to name the lambs, Eenie, Meenie, Miny and Mo.
As reported in the Daily Echo last week, staff at the farm in Bursledon were astonished to find that one ewe had given birth to quadruplets.
The gorgeous lambs caused quite a stir, as David Trenchard had never before witnessed the birth of four healthy lambs in his 50 years as a farmer.
Eenie, Meenie, Miny and Mo were a very popular choice among the entries but it was Abigail Lark, 7, and her twin brothers, Izaac and Joseph, 5, pictured above with their grandparents, who were the lucky winners to have their names pulled out of the hat.
Their grandma, Norma Lark, 69, from Pittmore Road, Eastleigh, said: "They have been so excited about coming to see the lambs. The lambs are lovely and the children have had a great time with them."
