AN investigation is under way into an arson attack at a store in Southampton city centre.
Emergency services were called to Holland and Barrett store in East Street this morning.
The shop has been cordoned off with a police scenes of crime van and a Hampshire arson task force vehicle parked outside.
At this stage it is not known how much damage has been done by the attack.
One nearby shopowner said: “Police haven’t told us much about the incident except that it happened during the night.”
A spokesman for Holland and Barrett said: “We are aware of an out of hours incident in which no staff were harmed.
"As we are helping Police with their enquiries we cannot comment any further.”
