FIREFIGHTERS tonight tackled a burning skip at a Hampshire secondary school.
The blaze broke out at Portchester Community School, in White Hart Lane, Portchester, shortly before 9.30pm.
Smoke was seen billowing from buildings behind the school by residents.
Crews from Portchester, Fareham and Cosham fire stations arrived to tackle the blaze.
They used a water jet and prevented flames from spreading to the building.
It is not yet known how the fire started.
