Man killed after getting trapped between car and wall
A MAN has died after being trapped between a wall and a vehicle.
A crew of at least 10 firefighters from Hightown station were called to Barnes Lane, Sarisbury Green at 6.30pm on Sunday.
They spent almost an hour at the scene with Hampshire police and ambulance services but despite their best efforts they were unable to save the 63-year-old.
A spokesperson for the fire station has said that police are now investigating.
South Central Ambulance Service was called at 6.24pm.
A spokesperson said the man was trapped by "some sort of tram".
The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, a rapid response car, one ambulance, one responder and a team leader were dispatched to the scene.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
