Hundreds expected to try out women’s run in Southampton
ONE of the city’s top running events has returned for the third year.
Hundreds of women are expected to lace up their running shoes and race around Southampton Common next month.
Entries have opened for the Women’s Running 5k and 10k events on June 14 in association with national initiative This Girl Can.
Girls and women aged 12 and above can take part in the shorter race, while people over 16 can give the 10k run a try.
All entrants get a free goodie bag, while finishers each get an event T-shirt and a race medal.
Entries start at £21.
