Bridge work to close road
A BUSY Hampshire road will be closed for a couple of nights next week while engineers carry out work on a railway bridge.
Network Rail engineers will be working on the Winchester Road bridge in Romsey from 10pm on Tuesday, May 26 until 6am the next morning and again on Wednesday night.
While the work is being done the A3090 will be closed between Botley Road and the Plaza Roundabout.
A 7.5tonne weight restriction on Botley Road will be suspended while the work is being done.
