FASHIONABLE pensioners from Hampshire strutted their stuff on the catwalk to raise vital funds for sick children.

Residents at McCarthy and Stone’s Cornmantle Court, in Ringwood, modelled the latest fashions from M&Co and Roman Origins for the charity fashion show.

With some of the latest looks on display ranging from ‘Ladies that Lunch’ to ‘A Day at the Races’, sparkly tops, elegant dresses and light summer knits were just some of the creations that graced the catwalk in aid of children’s hospice, Julia’s House.

Audrey Merrington, one of the homeowners at Cornmantle Court, said: “We were all practising our best Twiggy poses in the run up to the event, and it was great fun feeling like a supermodel for an afternoon. It was such a treat to be able to try out some of the latest looks and admire all of the lovely clothes on offer.”
