POLICE believe two youngsters were injured in a Hampshire park after being shot by a ball bearing gun.
Officers were called to the park near to Joe Bigwood Close in Nursling just before 5pm on Saturday.
Police searched the area but could not find any suspects or ball bearing guns.
Sergeant Alyson West said: "Thankfully the two children who were hit suffered very minor injuries which did not require medical treatment.
"However they could easily have been hit in the eye and caused a significant injury."
Police are urging anyone with information to contact Hampshire Constabulary on 101, quoting reference number 44150200222.
