FOLLOWING a tip off from a neighbour, police raided a rented flat in Southampton and discovered it had been converted for the production of skunk cannabis, the city crown court heard.
Police found a tent in a corner of the living room containing fairly sophisticated hydroponic system for the growing of plants.
Prosecutor Colin Meeke said they recovered 24 plants and 14 seedlings which had the potential produce cannabis worth about £15,000 on the street.
Andres Montana, 37, of New Road, Southampton, admitted producing cannabis and received a 12 month suspended sentence coupled with two years supervision, a 150 hour community order and pay £400 costs.
