MARK Bosworth thought he was saving money when he skipped paying for a train fare.
But he was caught by rail staff at Basingstoke and is now more than £1,000 poorer.
Bosworth, 42, of Hyde Street, Hyde, Winchester, travelled on a train on January 29 without a ticket, boarded a train without a ticket, unlawfully moved automatic doors and used threatening and abusive language.
The four charges were proved in his absence at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
He was fined £1,000, ordered to pay £39.10 in compensation, a £40 victim surcharge and costs of £140.
