I’VE been puzzled by a few things lately, perhaps readers can help me.

Firstly, am I right in thinking that it is against the law to cycle on the pavement ? If so, why do I have to avoid cyclists using the pavements. Perhaps the local Police can help with this question.

Double yellow lines. I was always under the impression that they meant no parking.

Daily Echo: A car parked on double yellow lines.

It appears that I am wrong, or perhaps partially wrong.

It seems that, and this appears to be a quite common, if you actually straddle the lines with your vehicle, ie, park with two wheels on the pavement and two wheels on the road, straddling the yellow lines that this is OK and perfectly acceptable.
