SALISBURY Playhouse is running a week of theatre workshops for young people with learning disabilities.
Run in association with Blue Apple Theatre Company, one of Britain’s leading theatre companies for actors with learning disabilities, the workshops are suitable for all abilities and are designed for anyone who enjoys drama and performing.
The project, which runs from August 24 to 28, will culminate in a short performance.
All participants will receive two free tickets to see Blue Apple’s next production, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing in the Salberg Studio on September 18 and 19.
Young people aged 12-16 will attend from 11.30am until 1pm each day for £30 and workshops for over 16s will take place from 2pm – 4pm for £40.
