THREE of the restaurants taking place in Southampton's emerging WestQuay Watermark complex have applied for their licences.
Jamie's Italian, Bill's and Cabana are among the eight restaurants to sign up for the leisure development, alongside Showcase Cinema de Lux.
They have all filed bids with the council for the sale of alcohol between 10am and midnight, seven days a week.
Their bids also contain applications to play recorded and live music from 6am to midnight and provide late night refreshment between 11pm and midnight.
The other names forming part of the development, which is set to open next year, are Nando's, Zizzi, Wahaca, Byron and Five Guys.
When work is completed on the £80m complex it will eventually feature up to 20 bars and restaurants, is expected to create 1,300 new jobs as well as 700 construction jobs.
A second phase, which has outline planning permission but would require detailed consent, would feature a hotel, a mix of retail and office space, an underground car park and a residential tower block that could be as high as 27 storeys.
