A MOTORCYCLE enthusiast is set to ride around the south west in a Second World War bike to raise money for charity.
Mark Arnold will start and finish in Salisbury, covering 700 miles of the south western and south Wales countryside, in aid of homeless veterans.
And on the way he will visit ten Alabaré homes for veterans and have a cup of tea and a chat with residents.
He said: "I know the military have always had a close relationship with motorcycling so it seemed natural for me to create this fundraising event.
"The fact that I had the ideal machine in my shed was simply a bonus."
