A GROUP for over-50s is looking for new members.
The Senior Friendship Club meets at Nursling and Rownhams Village Hall, in Nursling Street, every Thursday at 2.30pm and has a variety of entertainment.
This varies from singing to music to talks and occasionally a quiz or bingo.
The group also arranges outings during the year such as playing skittles at a nearby pub, a cream tea and a shopping centre trip.
After a summer break the group restarts it meetings this Thursday.
In recent months the club has lost a number of members – numbers now stand at 35 whereas it has at one time had 50 people.
Those attending must make their own transport there but there is a bus service.
