AN early Christmas Yuletide present is on the cards for two youngsters in a new drawing competition organised by Romsey’s Tourist Information Centre (TIC).
The TIC is seeking designs for Christmas cards from children in two age categories: under eights and eights to 12-years.
The winner in each category will be produced professionally and sold in the TIC.
They will be on sale from October 10 on behalf of this year’s annual ‘Children In Need’ appeal.
Entry forms and A4 white card can be collected from the TIC office in Church Street. The closing date for entries is September 30.
The entries will be judged by Romsey artists Rex and Geraldine Trayhorne, and the prizes will be presented at the opening of Rex’s special Christmas Card Exhibition in King John’s House on Saturday, October 10.
Each winner will receive a selection of prizes, including a large framed print of his or her entry.
