A BOOK stall at Romsey Market has raised more than £100 towards the upkeep of North Baddesley Community Library.

The £132.16p netted will help pay for the rent of the library at Willis Avenue.

Debbie Evenhand from North Baddesley Community Library said the cash was a “record amount” raised at a book stall sale and she thanked all those who helped boost the voluntary run library’s funds.

The library’s next bookstall fundraiser is on Saturday September 19 between 10am and noon outside the Ox Brasserie in North Baddesley.
