POLICE are hunting thieves who stole a safe during a raid of a Hampshire leisure centre.
A trio of thieves used a concrete block to smash a large window at the front of Fleming Park Leisure Centre in Eastleigh.
Police have been told that there was no cash inside it or anything of value.
The safe has since been recovered by officers, who found it in Priory Road, Southampton.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the theft from the Passfield Avenue venue, which happened between 3am and 3.45am on September 1, to come forward.
