IT'S champagne showers for this lucky Southampton couple who are celebrating their lottery win in the sunshine today.

Rob Rich and his partner Mandy Dunn are now the lucky owners of £2,012,794 after winning the jackpot for the National Lottery.

Now their lives will be transformed as Rob has already retired from his lorry driving job, which saw him get up every morning at 3.30am to make the rounds and they have hopes of moving out of their three-bedroom council house in Southampton.

He even delivered to the Grand Harbour Hotel but it's been a different experience there today as he and Mandy have come to talk about the surreal experience of discovering they are millionaires.

The couple are determined not to let the money change them and Rich admitted he burst into tears when he first found out.

Rob said: "We haven't really slept since finding out. It's indescribable and absolutely fantastic. This is totally going to change the way we live obviously from being a lorry driver in a council house and constantly worrying about money and living hand to mouth.

"Our lives as we know it are gone it's unbelievable but we won't change because of it because we're just not those kind of people, it'll still be shopping the basic brands at tesco and only half filling up the car.

"This money will give us the lives we always wanted and we can support out children and actually be with our family."
