A twelfth person was today charged after a massive series of raids targeting alleged animal rights extremists across the country, including Hampshire..
Heather Nicholson was charged with conspiracy to blackmail after the 30 raids which took place last week across the UK and Europe as part of Operation Achilles.
The 40-year-old, from Pond Croft, Yateley, will appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court tomorrow.
During the operation, which involved 700 officers, police also seized £100,000 in cash, mobile telephones, computer equipment and documents.
Nine other people have already been charged with conspiracy to blackmail and a further two have been charged with blackmail.
Operation Achilles was the largest of its kind and police raids took place in Berkshire, Kent, Hampshire, Lancashire, London, Merseyside, Northumbria, Oxford, Surrey, Sussex, Worcestershire, Yorkshire, Glasgow, South Wales, Belgium and the Netherlands.
