TODAY we can reveal which gorgeous tots have won their way through to the Daily Echo’s Child of the Year competition.

Having fended off the competition from scores of youngsters across the county, these are the cream of the crop as voted for by you.

Our entrants were out to the public votes and from the hundreds that were cast, these are the 20 finalist that will now battle it out to take the crown in this year's competition.

The finalists have been split up into four age categories, with five finalists in each.

The tiny tots vying to win the 0 to 9 month category are: Lily Pybus, Myles Dunne, Rocco Brazil, Maddox Miselbrook and Jacob Leon.

In the 10 to 18 month category, the finalists include: Evlyn Moody, Willow Samuels, Jessica Bulley, Myah Noke and Rio Wyatt.

In the 19 to 36 month category, the finalists are: Iwan Gale, Leo Horsham, Grace Godwin, Lacey Hartup, Hugo Squire.

In the top age group of three to five years, the finalists are: Alfie Buxey, Reuben Taylor, Amelia Fielder, Liahna Waterman and Ella Hayball.

Now a panel of judges has the difficult task of picking a runner-up winner and winner from each age category, before an overall winner is crowned.

They will be hoping to be the next name of the roll of honour after the title was scooped last year by Harbey Dumper, whose cheeky smiled bowled over our judges.

Along with the coveted title and trophy winners will receive vouchers and have a framed print of their winning picture presented to them.

Once the panel has made their decision the family of the youngster will be contacted and the winner revealed in the Daily Echo.
