HUNDREDS of people have lined the streets of a Hampshire village as its annual carnival takes place.
This year's Titchfield Carnival has taken some inspiration from the Battle of Agincourt, taking place on the 600th anniversary of Henry V's victory over the French.
The village is believed to have provided shelter to the King’s army ahead of crossing the water to France and on to the battle.
The day started at 1pm with a classic car show followed by a 107-strong cavalcade through Titchfield before the main carnival parade.
A further illuminated procession, with entries including Bournemouth Carnival Band, will go through the village streets at 6.45pm before a beacon is lit at 8.30pm.
As always the day has been organised by the Titchfield Bonfire Boys Society.
There will also be music in the square from Romsey Old Cadets and a market in West Street and food court in Southampton Hill.
Reflecting the battle theme there will be a chance for people to try out archery in Barry’s Meadow from midday to 3pm.
