A DRIVER smashed his BMW into a fence last night, wrecking the £54,000 car.
Driving on Glenwood Avenue in Southampton, the driver smashed his BMW M3 4.0 Monte Carlo Edition vehicle into the fence, completely obliterating the front of the car and ripping the fence from the ground.
After crashing the car, the 18-year-old driver said: "These things happen. As long as you are not dead, everything goes back to normal and you have to keep going"
Hampshire police said they were called out to the incident at 8.42pm last night and called an ambulance for the driver.
